Hiroki Takagi
Born in 1967 | Kyoto, Japan

Hiroki’s journey into music began with a passion for martial arts in his early years — until a life-changing encounter with the guitar at age 16 sparked an unshakable devotion to the instrument. He studied under renowned guitarist Kazuo Takeda (formerly of Creation) and pianist Toshimasa Kokufu (formerly of Soubatto Review), immersing himself in professional musicianship from the start. Through years of recording and live support work with musicians from around the world, Hiroki built a solid foundation of performance experience.

In 2008, he founded Seriel Inc., launching a full-scale guitar instruction program tailored to students of all ages and nationalities living in Japan. That same year, he began composing for visual media, including music for Media Craft’s Kusakaru Railway series. Now based in his studio in Kokubunji, Tokyo, Hiroki continues to teach guitar while actively composing and performing live.
